- A square sheet of origami paper (red, white, or any color you prefer).
- Cardstock to make your swing tag.
- String or ribbon
- Scissors and glue
- Markers, optional. If you want to add any writing to your gift tag.
Instructions
To Make The Santa
Step 1: Start with the color you want Santa to be facing down. Arrange the paper to sit like a diamond.
Step 2: Fold the bottom point to the top point.
Step 3: Unfold previous step.
Step 4: Fold the left point to meet the right point.

Step 5: Unfold previous step.
Step 6: Fold the top point to meet the middle point.
Step 7: Fold the same point up to meet the top edge.
Step 8: Unfold previous step.

Step 9: Fold the same point up but this time to meet the nearest crease (made in step 7).
Step 10: Fold the bottom edge of the top flap up to meet the nearest crease.
Step 11: Fold the bottom edge of the top flap up once more, along the existing crease line.
Step 12: Fold the bottom point to meet the top edge.

Step 13: Fold the top point of the flap down, leaving a small gap from the bottom edge.
Step 14: Flip your paper over from left to right.
Step 15: Fold the left point to meet the middle crease.
Step 16: Fold the right point to meet the middle crease.

Step 17: Unfold previous 2 steps.
Step 18: Fold the left point to meet the crease made in step 16 (the right most crease).
Step 19: Fold the right most crease to meet the centre crease.
Step 20: Fold the left point to meet the middle crease.
