Instructions
Step 1: Print out your milk carton gift box template. You might like to print it out on colored/patterened paper, or you can keep it blank.
Step 2: Cut out your template. If you didn't print it on colored paper, you can place the cut out template onto your chosen paper and trace around it, then cut out what you traced.
Step 3: Fold or score along the red dashed lines, cut along the black solid lines, and for the blue dashed lines you want to inverse fold them (the opposite way you folded the red lines, so they fold out towards you).
Step 4: With the right side of your template facing down, apply some glue or double sided tape to the bottom flaps and side flap (see picture for guide). Note: for the side flap you will need to place the glue on the opposite side not the side facing up.
Then assemble your box, working your way from the left side of the box (the side without the side flap), overlapping the bottom flaps as you do, and then attaching the side flap to close the side of the box.
Step 5: Fill your box with your gift.
Step 6: Gently press the top of your milk carton to form the top shape. Secure the top with a mini peg, clip, sticker, or washi tape.

Tips For Success
- Use thicker cardstock so the box holds its shape properly when filled.
- Score fold lines before assembling for cleaner edges and easier shaping.
- Reinforce the base if you're adding slightly heavier items.
- Make sure folds are pressed firmly so the carton stands upright.
- Let any glue dry fully before adding contents.
