Note: We used a 6x6-inch (15cm x 15cm) sheet for our rectangle origami corner bookmark, but feel free to adjust the size for larger or smaller bookmarks.
Instructions
Step 1: Start with the color you want your bookmark to be facing down.
Step 2: Fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangle.
Step 3: With the open end of the triangle pointing away from you, take the bottom left corner and fold it up to meet the centre of the top point.
Step 4: Repeat previous step for the bottom right corner.

Step 5: Unfold step 3 and unfold step 4.
Step 6: Take the top layer of the top point and fold it down to meet the bottom edge of the paper. This will form the pocket of your bookmark.
Step 7: Take the left corner and fold it up. Then carefully tuck it into the pocket you made in the previous step. Crease and press flat.
Step 8: Repeat previous step for the right corner.
