Materials Needed
- Standard Square Paper Napkins.
- Recommended size: 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches (16.5 cm x 16.5 cm)
Napkin Type
- Use sturdy yet foldable paper napkins.

Step 4: Fold the top right corner (top 2 layers only) to meet the crease you made in step 2.

Step 5: Fold the edge of the top layer down towards the left to meet the crease you made in step 2.
Step 6: Once again, fold the edge of the top layer down towards the left but this time along the crease you made in step 2.

Step 7: Fold the top right corner down (single layer only) to meet the middle diagonal crease.
Step 8: Fold the edge of the flap you folded in the previous step down to meet the middle diagonal crease.

Tips For Success
- Choose a sturdy napkin – A stiffer napkin holds the fold better and adds structure.
- Crisp folds are key – Take extra care in ensuring each fold is sharp for a clean, professional look.
- Pre-fold the napkins – If you’re hosting a large event, fold them the day before to save time.

Color, Paper Ideas, and Variations
- Classic & Elegant: Opt for white, ivory, or neutral-colored napkins for a timeless, formal look. These colors work beautifully for weddings, elegant dinners, or holiday gatherings like Christmas and Thanksgiving.
- Festive Holiday Touches: Use red, green, and gold for Christmas dinners or New Year’s Eve celebrations. Pastel shades like soft pinks and yellows work wonderfully for Easter brunches or spring gatherings.
- Vibrant & Fun: Bright colors such as turquoise, yellow, or coral are perfect for summer parties, birthday parties, or spring picnics. They add a cheerful vibe to any table setting
- Seasonal Themes: For autumn, use shades like burnt orange, deep burgundy, or golden yellow to evoke a cozy, harvest feel for Thanksgiving or a fall gathering.
- Personalized Touch: Consider choosing napkins in your party’s theme colors or adding small touches like name cards or tags to the fold for birthday parties, baby showers, or bridal showers.
- Paper vs. Fabric: Paper napkins are perfect for casual dinners, picnics, or buffet-style parties. Fabric napkins, on the other hand, are ideal for formal occasions, weddings, or when you want a more polished look.
