If you're looking for a cute and easy DIY gift box, this bunny gift box is the perfect choice!

Whether you need Easter treat boxes, springtime crafts, or a creative way to package small gifts, this adorable bunny-shaped box is sure to delight.

The best part?

It comes with a printable template, making it super simple to assemble-just cut, fold, and glue!

We've even included a cute little carrot gift tag you can print and use!

You can print the template directly onto cardstock for a sturdy box or use the template to trace onto colored paper for even more customization.

It can also be a fun activity for kids! Instead of printing on colored cardstock, you can print the template onto plain white paper and let kids color and decorate their own bunny box before assembling it.

This makes for a fantastic classroom craft, Easter party activity, or handmade gift box for loved ones.

These DIY bunny boxes can be filled with candy, chocolates, stickers, or small trinkets, making them a great choice for Easter baskets, springtime parties, and baby showers.

No matter how you use them, they'll add a fun, festive touch to any celebration!

Tips For Success

  • Use thicker paper for a more durable box - If using regular printer paper, consider reinforcing the sides with extra layers.
  • Let kids get creative! - Print the template onto white paper and let them color, paint, or add stickers before cutting and assembling.
  • Score the fold lines - Use a ruler and the back of a butter knife to create clean, crisp folds.
  • Double-sided tape works great! - Instead of glue, use tape for a cleaner finish with no drying time.
  • Scale the template - Print at different sizes to create a set of mini and large bunny boxes.

Common Mistakes & How To Avoid Them

Using too much glue - A small amount is enough; too much can make the paper soggy.

Color, Paper Ideas, and Variations

  • Classic Easter Pastels - Use soft pinks, baby blues, yellows, and mint greens for a sweet and festive spring look.
  • Bold & Bright Colors - Try hot pink, orange, or purple for a fun and playful bunny box!
  • Themed Bunny Boxes - Use gold or red for Christmas, orange and black for Halloween, or shiny metallic paper for an elegant touch.
  • Patterned Paper for Extra Charm - Use floral, polka dot, or gingham prints for a farmhouse or vintage-inspired look.
  • Personalized with Names - Add a name tag or write on the bunny's ear for a cute, customized gift box.

FAQ

Can I use regular printer paper instead of cardstock?

Yes! However, regular paper may be a bit flimsy.

How can I make the box larger?

You can adjust the print settings to scale up the template. Just ensure the proportions remain the same!

Can kids make this on their own?

Yes, but younger kids may need help with cutting and folding. Let them decorate before assembling for a fun, hands-on activity.

What if I don't have a printer?

No problem! Print it at a local print shop or trace the template onto cardstock using a ruler and pencil.
