- 1 square sheet of paper (note: 6 inch (15 cm) square paper makes a beanie that is about 3 inches x 2.5 inches (7 cm x 6.5 cm).

Instructions
Step 1: Start with the color you want your beanie to be facing up.
Step 2: Fold the bottom edge up slightly. The thickness of this is up to you. This will become the beanie’s ribbing.
Step 3: Flip your paper over from left to right.
Step 4: Fold the left edge towards the right so that it sits at about the halfway mark.
Step 5: Fold the right edge towards the left so that it slightly overlaps the left flap you folded in the previous step.
Step 6: Tuck the right flap into the left at the bottom.
