FAQ

Can I use regular printer paper?

Yes, but origami paper is better since it holds folds well and creates a crisp, clean look.

What's the best way to attach the tree to the toothpick?

A small piece of tape or a dot of glue works perfectly. If using glue, let it dry completely before handling.

Can I make these ahead of time?

Absolutely! You can fold the trees in advance and store them flat until ready to attach to toothpicks.

How do I make a lucky star topper?

Fold a tiny origami lucky star from a narrow paper strip and glue it to the top of the tree for a cute finishing touch! We have an easy step by step tutorial for lucky stars that you can follow.
