Materials Needed

  • 1 square paper napkin, ideally with color on one side and white on the other.

Note: If you can't get napkins with color on one side and white on the other, you could combine 2 napkins (one white and one colored/patterened) before folding your Christmas stocking.

Instructions

Step 1: Start by unfolding your napkin completely. Typically, napkins come folded into quarters.

We want the color you want your stocking to be facing up.

Step 2: Fold the top edge down slightly. This will become the strip of your stocking.

Step 3: Flip your napkin over from left to right. Make sure the strip you just folded is still sitting on the top edge.

Step 4: Fold both the left and right edges in to meet the middle crease.
